Jeanne’s theme this week was how spirituality and intuition tie together. Our first caller tonight, Rachel from Michigan, called in on a three way call with her daughters, Hanna and Kayla. She wanted to know what the angels had to say to them. Jeanne has a great conversation and learns Kayla has a gift to see a person’s light, their aura. In parapsychology and spiritual practice, an aura is an field of subtle, luminous radiation that surrounds a person or object. Kathy from Florida calls to thank Jeanne for her help getting through the grief of the loss of her boyfriend Michael. She also asks about alignment and how to stay in alignment. She is concerned for her father’s health and Jeanne can feel a problem with his blood sugar, possibly a diabetic or diabetes type issue. She can also feel stress from his in ability to move around as he has in the past. June calls to give an update on her brother, who was diagnosed with mesothelioma, a condition caused by asbestos exposure in the Navy. He had surgery and is doing well and thanked Jeanne and everyone for their prayers. Jeanne addresses a problem sent in via email, a toxic person in the workplace. A higher up person is causing disruption in the work place. Jeanne offers some great advice – set your intention to handle from a perspective of love and understanding. If you speak from love, pray and tell the truth, it will work out for the better. Donna from CT calls with concerns for her mother and brother. Jeanne feels a long time addiction problem taking a toll the mother and brother. Donna feels guilt and not sure what to do to help. Jeanne goes back to the perspective of acting out of love and understanding. Spirituality and nutrition, connecting to source and the divine. Talk to God, find your intuitive guidance.
The nutrition in seaweed
As dark, leafy veggies go, seaweed is about as nutrient-dense as it gets. Eat about a gram of seaweed and your daily iodine needs are taken care of. Iodine is one of those micronutrients that’s hard to come by in foods, and that’s why it’s added to ‘iodized’ table salt: to help bolster the population’s thyroid and brain health. But more and more folks are eschewing good old table salt for all those designer salts, and that’s just more reason to reach for some seaweed.
Seaweed packs super-high amounts of calcium—higher than broccoli—and in terms of protein, it’s almost as rich as legumes. There’s also a good amount of vitamins B-12 and A and it’s a great source of fibre. But not just any old fibre. Seaweed is mostly soluble fibre, the kind that turns into a gel, slowing down the digestive process, thus inhibiting the absorption of sugars and cholesterol
