Clarity vs. Chaos

I asked God…

I asked God to illuminate how best to describe the difference between clarity and chaos and servitude and helping. You see there is a fine line here that can really confuse us. This fine line I am speaking of is Shemgo (your fear based thoughts guy)’s way of convincing us that our actions are needed or wanted for or from another. But when we see it from this vantage point of taking an action in order to help another we then find ourselves within chaotic energy.
 
God gave me this passage to share with you…
 
 
 
“Whoever serves me must follow me”-
Here, John shares how Jesus taught the disciples, He speaks directly to us in that we are to serve God by following Jesus’ lead.
 
On this week’s Angels Don’t Lie Podcast I guided my live viewers to identify with what or whom they are serving. It was a lovely conversation with the addition of a beautiful reading for a mother of twins.
 

I know this topic may seem a bit heavy. I get it.

But I also I want to encourage you to dive in, because as healers our soul’s have come to learn, evolve, heal and serve and in order to show up fully for our work in this life, we have to do our “you work”, to check ourselves before we feel wrecked or worse, before we lead another astray. 
 
These Angel inspired questions will help illuminate if you are serving yourself, your emotional wounds or that “Shmego” guy.
 
  1. Whom or what are you allowing to guide you? 
  2. Where or who are you turning to for support and understanding of what you are receiving? (messages, signs so forth)
  3. Where or what are you placing your faith on or in?

So, if we are serving our emotional wounds rather than God we will find this leads us to become emotionally & physically exhausted with our energy. We can experience feelings such as guilt and shame which trigger deeper feelings that touch our emotional wounds causing us to feel insecure, unworthy, incompetent, and so on. 

This is because the amount of energy we pour out trying to help is draining our physical being of our life force vitality. 

Our life force energy is renewed only by God. 

When we are out of our soul’s alignment, the emotional wounds are waiting to be healed so we inadvertently search outward to feel better. This becomes a cycle of addictive behavior where we focus on the things we believe will fill us back up such as; people-pleasing, enabling or over giving to others. 

What happens next is that our well-being is compromised, our mindset becomes scattered and we start searching outside of ourselves for answers to the lack we are inwardly feeling. This begins the cycle of strain to pain, pain to illness, illness to isolation, isolation to suffering.

Are you with me here? Where do you see yourself in this cycle?

Serving isn’t meant to be an imprisonment,

or a way to decrease our energy by emptying our internal well through over-giving, doing and trying.  

 
This is where most sensitive souls and empaths land, on a proverbial island of lack. Such as in our:
  • Mindset
  • Health
  • Wealth 
  • Relationships

The good news is that we have been given the answers. 

 
On the subject of serving we can find in the second part of this section of John 12:26 – “where I am my servant will also be. My father will honor the one who serves me.” 
 
This passage is clear and to the point by saying that where you stand as a believer, a healer, a sensitive soul, empath… so shall Jesus be there with you. That God will honor you. This means in all ways His love is with you to support you and fill your cup with unconditional love. Your healing & work in this life matters.
When we seek God’s guidance for our path, the chaos dissipates and our vision becomes clear. 

We can also further this with Matthew 2:24, “You cannot serve God and wealth.”
For me, this part of the passage also speaks of chasing all the goals; forcing, trying and doing which totally consumes our energy.
It’s a reminder that as energetic souls we tend to value physical things because they give us a sense or feeling of safety.
It’s not saying that having or desiring money or wealth is bad, however, we are Divinely guided not to have it as our idol, or the thing we focus on.
Rather when we lean inward, turning toward God, our path will illuminate and our cup will “runneth over” from the well of His eternal love.
 
This is where we will find our soul’s abundance of health, wealth and wisdom.

The most common healer trait that no one is speaking about…

THE MOST COMMON HEALER TRAIT NO ONE IS SPEAKING ABOUT THUMBNAIL GRAPHIC

Hello Lovely Soul, 

As you can imagine, in the work I do, I come across so many different types of healers, psychics and mediums.

What I find so often is that when someone wants to use their gifts they tend to concentrate their focus on opening their Third Eye.
And then there are some who have already done the work of opening their third eye and are currently seeing and communicating with spirit, but haven’t yet done the work to become aligned through their relationship with God & balancing and opening all of their energy centers.

They get caught up in their head space, and this is when they tend to see lower frequencies and receive low vibe and prediction based messages. It’s great that you have abilities, but honestly the most common healer trait that no one is speaking about is the gift of energy sensitivity; a person born pure of heart.

Here is an excerpt from my book Believe . . . Angels Don’t Lie (pg 99):

 

“We are born with the gift of being our own healers through the connection to Spirit.

Our souls are energy sensitive and have come into this life with the ability to channel Divine love and heal our deepest wounds.

This pure love is woven through our DNA and energy centers.

But the thing that makes a person who utilizes their gift of being pure of heart different from those who don’t, is that they move through life helping others.

They become earth angels and their soul lesson and life path fuel them to feel and transmit love and light energy. They are like lighthouses, and the light they are meant to share with the souls they encounter throughout their life is that of Divine love.

The pure of heart is a healer with a core soul connection to helping others.”

From the bible, Jesus teaches us the beatitudes or blessings just before He delivers His most famous sermon, the Sermon on the Mount.

The sixth of the nine beatitudes is “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.”

Jesus refers to “pure in heart,” as an internal purity, showing His concern with our heart’s position.

He doesn’t waste his time speaking to our external lives because He knows that our hearts must first be changed.

When we experience this internal heart shift, our thoughts, behaviors, actions, and as a result, our external lives will also change.

Jesus wants our hearts to genuinely desire things that are pleasing to Him – then, our lives will reflect and produce things that are pleasing to Him and will match our soul’s desires.

When we seek his guidance for our lives he begins a transformation in our hearts.

Inside this blessing, Jesus also promises that those who embody this pure heart will see God.

Those with a pure heart will come to truly know Jesus because our heart is what Jesus sees. He knows that our external words and actions that fall outside of our true heart’s nature aren’t the honest representation of who we are. God knows our heart and our desires and that’s what He is most interested in. There are many other references in the bible to the sacredness of our hearts and how we need to honor and preserve its purity.

 

“Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” | Psalm 139: 23-24

“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” | Proverbs 4:23

“Behold, you delight in truth in the inward being, and you teach me wisdom in the secret heart.” | Psalm 51: 6

“Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from a pure heart.” |  Peter 1: 22

 

A heart centered healer, medium or psychic is one who understands that the gifts they possess within are not solely based on having their third eye open.

They are grounded in their relationship with God and they are tuned to the higher frequencies of being in union with the Holy Spirit.

The greatest gift of all gifts…love.

Safeguarding Your Energy

I believe we all have the ability to sense and discern the energy in which we live and share with others.
 
As far as energy goes, I’ve heard statements like: “I had to cut them out of my life” and “I have to protect my energy from___” and, “I can’t use my gift because I feel so depleted afterwards.”
 
Safeguarding our energy doesn’t come from avoiding or cutting people out of our lives. Yes, it may seem like doing so would offer a relief from this negative and depleting energy, but these actions are actually opposing energies of love.
 
In order to truly heal and protect our energy we must first look into what we are focusing our thoughts and energies on.
 
In Luke 11: 33-36 we can find our answer for safeguarding our energy.
 

So let’s break it down…
“No one who lights a lamp hides it away or places it under a (bushel basket), but on a lampstand so that those who enter might see the light.”

In this part of Luke’s scripture, Jesus is saying to us that we are the lamp. The light of God resides within each of us, do not hide it away so that others are unable to experience the vastness of God’s glory within you, let others see and feel your yummy light.

Next we read:
“The Lamp of the body is your eye. When your eye is sound, then your whole body is filled with light, but when it is bad, then your body is in darkness.”

Jesus is teaching us to see with our heart. It is when we are centered in God’s love that we can see with clarity and attract more light into our lives. In contrast, when we are focusing on our thoughts alone and we perceive energy only with our minds, this often results in us experiencing low vibe energy.

And, next we find the cure for the low vibe energy:

“Take care, then, that the light in you not become darkness. If your whole body is full of light, and no part of it is in darkness, then it will be as full of light as a lamp illuminating you with its brightness.”

Now, we are reminded that our light is precious and that where we focus our energy, that is what will grow. If we are hardening our hearts with worry, doubt, anger, resentment or unforgiveness that is what will grow, and the type of energy we will attract into our lives. The solution then is clear; be the light, this is how we can safeguard our energy. For where there is light, darkness cannot be.

Whenever I am leading or teaching others how to clear their energy and protect themselves, I share the following statement with them to say each day, “Only that which is of God can come to me.”

This is a powerful declaration of the energy in which you are choosing to live within. It brings you to a place of servitude and of resilience. When your eyes are focused on the light, it will diminish any and all darkness.

In this week’s episode of Angel’s Don’t Lie,
We close out this month’s Prayer Life and Manifesting series by sharing the story behind the release of “The Goddess You.”

With sincere vulnerability, I share the struggles I faced in not only writing this book, but in writing a book with dyslexia and the limiting self-talk that came from identifying as an author. 

Because the “I’m not,” the “I can’t,” the “I won’t,” the “I don’t look like them,” the “I don’t have those talents or gifts….” – those were really holding me back from my true potential.

But with the editing help and abundant love from Colleen throughout it all- I was able to focus, manifest and come to love-on the identity of being an author, but more importantly – I was able to put EGO to rest (which we talk about A LOT in this book).

The more that I LET GO of what I framed myself to be, and instead listened to God – I found that these “titles” (like the title author) don’t actually have the real value that I was putting on them.

To say I’m an author is claiming the BEAUTY that God gifted me with, it doesn’t have to do with formulating, trying and overdoing – it has to do with LEANING INTO God’s arms, embracing his words and his love.

I stopped questioning ‘AM I doing this right?’ And instead, I leaned in with GODfidence.

What is the thing you are desiring most? Creating, doing, becoming?

Ask yourself:
“What story am I saying to myself?”
“What are the storylines behind what is coming before me?”
“What has the outside world taught me, And how can I let it go?”

When we step into the first Goddess Principle from this book– Quieting our Mind, we find GODFIDENCE.
If he loves and trusts me this much, why am I not trusting myself?….

Divinely Manifest your Heart’s Desires – Prayer Life Week 4

Let’s talk….

I’ve had so many people asking what the difference is between praying vs manifesting. 

 

One of the biggest issues for those of us who believe in God and are sensitive souls, is that we tend to hold a belief that asking for more than we already have is not what we are supposed to do.

Are you with me?

 

I understand how this is such a low vibe and uncomfortable place to live in. 

 

Believing that we are in some way wrong for desiring more and  thinking that we are going against or insulting God isn’t how He wants us to live! When what we desire is a match for our soul’s growth and purpose and we practice putting God in the forefront of our lives He blesses and supports all the actions it takes to achieve our desires. In turn those actions become easeful, we stop trying and begin being, new opportunities begin to show up for us in the form of the right people, the right timing, synchronicities” that we can’t really explain abound. What once felt so hard now seems eerily simple.This is the Divine within us in the “flow” of our Divine nature, and it feels SOOOO good!

 

On another note, if you have found the “rules” for manifesting don’t always feel appropriate, aligned, good, real or even safe for you to practice, and leave you feeling uncertain and uneasy you are not alone!

 

In 1 Corinthians 10:13 we can take note that God is for us, he has our best interest at heart. He teaches us how to discern temptation and provides us with an escape.

“No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.”

 

The escape from temptation is faith. It is a returning to our heart with an open mind and willingness to release the entanglements of fear. 

The truth here is that God DOES want us to pray for our desires, the ones that match our soul. He also wants for us to heal, learn and evolve in our mindset and our actions. 

 

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:1

“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33

“May he grant you your heart’s desire and fulfill all your plans!” Psalm 20:4

Our first calling then is to identify fear’s aka Shmego’s voice and how it has separated our thoughts from our heart. 

Once we heal the separation, then we can access a higher state of consciousness. This new state lifts us from a lower vibration to that of being aligned with our Goddess Soul-Self which feels lighter and freer and it’s a heck of alot easier to navigate life.

Prayer:

Holy God, King of the universe and God of my ancestors, thank you for the blessings and love that you have lovingly and graciously provided me. Today, I am asking you to please illuminate your light within my heart so that I may know and trust the desires of my soul. As I cast away all my fears, doubts and worries and lean on my faith Lord, guide and protect me from false illusions and despairing thoughts. I pray for my desires to be seen, felt and known as truth. I stand confidently in the miracles you provide and the presence of your peace, joy and love in my life. 

Amen. And, so it is. 

 

 

Spiritual Assignment:

Claiming the desires of your heart begins with identifying the things you want to bring into your life.  

The first step in doing this is to make a list of all the desires and wants that you have. 

The goal with this assignment is to NOT hold back when writing your list.

NOTE: If you shy away from writing something down, pause for a moment and ask yourself if you are experiencing fear or judging yourself. 

Action Step 1: Desire List- Write an inventory list of all the things you are hoping for, wanting and desiring. 

 

Action Step 2: Sit in a meditative space with your desire list and a pen.  Ask God to be with you as you take a deep breath in through your nose and direct it’s flow toward the center of your chest, allowing the breath to fill your heart. Pause here until you are in the stillness of peace. 

 

Action Step 3: Pick up your pen and scan your list with your eyes. Allow your eyes to gaze over each desire while tuning inward to notice how the words feel inside your body. Circle each desire that has a positive, hopeful, happy, enlivened feeling to it. 

 

Action Step 4: On the Postcard Vision page write down your top 3 desires. Take time here to journal about each one noting the time you first felt this Postcard Vision come to you. 

 

Action Step 5: Choose the one Postcard Vision that lights you up and excites you the most. Save this for next week’s Spiritual Assignment.

What To Do If You Stopped Believing In God

Sometimes an event occurs in our life that is so big and so painful that we begin to question everything that we thought we knew or that we had previously believed to be true. Sometimes it’s the smaller frequent struggles that just don’t stop coming that leave us feeling exhausted, weak and depleted that have us wondering “what is the point in all of this?” And then there are times when people in our lives that we should be able to trust, betray us and/or try to manipulate our thinking, leaving us feeling confused and alone.

Often, during these times people will blame God or even question his existence because they cannot make sense of why a loving God could allow this to happen. It is true that traumatic experiences rarely make sense to our logical minds. But our soul’s journey in this life is much more expansive than our limited understanding.

Recently I was asked by a client why it mattered that he had a spiritual practice set up for himself, because he didn’t even know what exactly he believed in. 

You see, he had been through serious trauma and was questioning “if there really is a God, then why would he allow these painful events to unfold in my life. “

I can’t even begin to imagine this man’s pain. Having to hold his child as she left this life seems so wrong and cruel. 

For me, I get a glimpse of how my clients feel when I am channeling. It’s a full body experience, I feel their pain as if it is mine. This is how I deliver what God wants them to know. 

This particular reading followed a series of clients that all had a common theme… they were each questioning God’s existence. 

Like my client who was lost in the overwhelming grief from his daughter’s passing, my new friend Allessandro Piovezehns lost his faith in God after being abandoned by his parents at the age of 14. Left to fend for himself, searching for food and shelter he turned to religious leaders to help him. What he received was deceit instead. These men, who stood for God, used God’s name to sin. 

As we try to understand the why’s of life’s happenings such as a loved one’s early departure from life or the wrongdoings and evil that we see and experience, we can easily get lost in the swirling energy of fear’s tones. 

Evil is real. And, he believes in God. His job is to put a wedge between you and God. Because if you aren’t good with God, then evil wins. Your God light dims with your internal struggles and questioning, and then that is what becomes the energy you share. Knowing why this matters is so important because if you are suffering and disbelieving then you aren’t going to share your light and love with others. Now that’s an “oh shit” moment, right?

God’s light is within you always. All you need to do is say yes to revisiting it. Almost like play. Try it out, call on Divine help, believe in it and watch and wait. God will always send you reminders that he’s holding space for you to return to love.

As for my client who’s grief has become a way of life for him and his family, I’ve offered him what I know works. Create a spiritual practice where Love is your focal point. Let go of trying and be still in the presence of your own Divinity. This is where God’s essence lives. Not in a religion or outside of you, you are the light of God. Trust in your intuitive, soul truth, that’s where you’ll find God!

The Hard Conversation We All Must Have

Talking about race we must first acknowledge and understand the truth of the history of racism in this country – not the whitewashed version we all learned in school.

We have to be willing to have the hard conversations.

We have to be willing to be uncomfortable.

We have to hear from each other – how all of this feels, be willing to answer and ask the questions that weigh on our heart.

We can never stop listening!

Speak up!

We all have to step up with our friends and family.

If someone says something racist or inappropriate about race, sexual preference, religion….

Stop them in their tracks – let them know it’s not ok and let them know why it’s not ok for you.

Educate – Educate – Educate

Educate yourself – read, watch, listen

Educate your children

Join organizations, clubs or activities that will enable you and or your children to have exposure to  different races and backgrounds.

Support – Donate – Volunteer

Support organizations doing work that you think important in support of black and brown people.

Volunteering can be done through your time – your gift or your treasure.

Support minority or black owned businesses.

We have to begin to put our $$ where our hearts are!

This place and time!

I believe we are in this place and time because we need to be

We are exactly where we are meant to be

All of the “stuff” that’s coming to the top has been there for many years

It was just a matter of time before it began to boil over.

But God! Faith, Hope & Love

For me personally, I believe that we have to believe in something – God, Jehovah, Buddah, Allah, Universe, Source….

Whatever brings you closer to a higher power.

The type of transformative change we need will require genuine faith, hope, love, grace, mercy and a whole lot of prayer. 

Recent devotional – God doesn’t have a problem with making possible what we think is impossible.

Matthew 19:26 – “Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Patience – It’s going to take time! 

Lasting, progress & change takes time!

It’s not going to happen overnight.

This change and progress will be uncomfortable – it won’t be easy.

There will be many times where it just won’t feel good.

Sometimes we’re going to just have to sit with a lot of questions with seemingly no answers in sight. An early 1900’s Austrian – German Poet wrote – 

“Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day, into the answer.” – Poet Rainer Maria Rilke

In these times, we need to remember to be gentle and kind with ourselves and each other.

This  is a really important time for us all to be mindful and responsible for our mental, physical and emotional health.

Last but not least!

In such a transformative time in history there’s learning in our leaning in and understanding. Be willing to ask “What can I do? What part can I play in the healing?

We will ultimately have to get past protesting – protesting is a great way of spreading the word but it’s only the beginning. 

We will need to strengthen healthcare systems, education, create and teach economic empowerment in black and brown communities and so much more.

It’s going to be a long hard road but I am hopeful when we get to the other side that the future will be very bright!

We have to lean in to love and trust our inner knowing.

We must come to learn that our differences make us stronger.

 The diversity of color, age, race, nationality, sexual orientation need to be intertwined in our thought, word and deed.

We cannot thrive without each other 

In Zulu there’s a word – Ubuntu

One we in America can definitely learn from, It speaks to the ability to show compassion, love, peace, reciprocity, dignity and humanity to our fellow humans. It’s a spirit of oneness and the interconnectedness of all life.

Desmond Tutu described it as – “My humanity is inextricably bound up in yours.’ We belong in a bundle of life.”

Ubuntu says,” I am Because we are”!

This year has taken us on a journey of finding new ways to work, connect and of letting go of what we felt like we had control over.

Feel To HEAL

Have you noticed how we have collectively broken open?

I too, have been experiencing intense personal and collective energy, so I did what I always do and asked my Angels for guidance. In response, the Angels guided me to an understanding of the brokenness and the upheaval of energy that we are all experiencing and I’m compelled to share this yummy Divine truth with you today. 

Before I begin, I feel it’s super important for you to know, I am here for you. And, as we enter this as a conversation, my arms and heart are open for you; to support, validate and hear from you. You can connect with me in the comment section or via email.  

The analogy the Angels shared with me on the energy experience we are now living in, is this… up to this point we have been traveling on a broken road. (The road signifies our soul’s life experience) Our road is paved, uneven at points, and has bumps and potholes..

Over the last several years our road began to deteriorate at a faster rate in some areas, the guardrails that represented a sense of safety began to bend and break away, leaving the bridges dangerously wide open, as more cracks formed in the road’s surface. Opinions, judgement and anger rose across the nation. Some prayed for help, others rose up to serve, while others raged.

Fast forward to 2020, when a worldwide pandemic causes the already broken surface cracks to widen and deepen forming a break from start to finish. With hundreds of thousands of lives lost, the divide is long and painful. Sorrow, anger, lies, deception flying about, breaking apart relationships, furthering and deepening the divide.

Now, just when we thought we had seen enough pain and devastation, racial injustice surfaces AGAIN, and this time it is rising out of the cracks of our very being. We feel deeply. For some that feeling is sorrow, sadness and disgust for others it brings up rage and anger, and still others it brings forth redemption and healing. 

Our road is an upheaval of what no longer belongs in our world or in the vibration of what some call the 5D or Aquarian age. The hate, the pain and the sorrow is bubbling out of our broken road, out of our soul. The truth is, they have taken up space in our lineage and in our consciousness repeating history over and over… until now. The earthquaking and erupting we are experiencing at this moment can and will heal us, individually and collectively when we turn inward, and call in the light to shine on and expose the dark. Equality is love, and love is equality. 

Leaning into love, means listening with our heart and soul. The Angels shared with me how my work impacts people so much because when we are validated our pain diminishes. It’s like magic really. To hear from a departed loved one that they are sorry for the pain they inflicted, whether consciously or unconsciously, changes you. It’s an immediate healing. 

Today, I want to validate the pain that our sisters and brothers in the black community have felt, witnessed and lived in. I see pain. It’s my job. It’s not pretty. 

To call out the darkness we must be ready, I am ready. I make no excuses for what I did not know or understand, yet there is now power in my choosing love where there was previously unknowingness. 

That’s where all of our power lies, in choosing love. We can do better, everyone of us can sit still, off of social media, away from the news, out of opinionated conversations and ask the Holy Spirit to ignite our soul with supernatural love. Forgive the ancestral lineage, the broken pieces and commit to loving yourself and others HOLY! 

The Bible tells this story of hate, betrayal and sacrifice. But that is not where the story ends. We also learn about redemption, forgiveness and compassion. Believing Jesus walked to His death, carrying His cross, and offering His crucifixion, as a gift for you, me, and for each and every soul so that we may be set free from sin. This is what I live by. It’s what I see when a person is leaving this earthly plane. Their soul purifies from all fear and they are offered eternal life with God. Even those who didn’t believe while living in their earthly bodies, have come through in sessions telling me that even if they  were an atheist, they have been healed through Jesus and welcomed into God’s kingdom. 

My point is, we must be willing to call the darkness out so the light can heal it. Only then can we transcend. Feel to Heal. Our road, though upheaved, split and spewing out yuck is doing what it must in order for the new rebirthing of love to reconstruct a healthy, strong super highway on which to journey forward on. Staying in the brokenness, defending or denying the yuck will only fill in the cracks with old outdated energy that will inevitably break wide open again and again.

This passage is from the Torah. In these words, “In You, Adonai” which translates to “In You, God”. 

“In You, Adonai, have I taken refuge. Let me never be ashamed. Deliver me and rescue me in Your justice. Turn Your ear to me and save me. Be to me a sheltering rock where I may always go. Give the command to save me—for You are my rock and my fortress”

Psalm 71:1-3TLV

I choose to see my dark yuck, to call it out, to lean into love, to learn, grow and evolve as a conscious loving soul. I forgive myself, for what I did not see or fully comprehend before this time. I pray for healing for humanity.
